Meet Our Students

Taylen Day

My name is Taylen Day, and I am a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. Currently, I am a sophomore, pre-med Psychology major with minors in Indigenous Studies and Medical Humanities. At the university, I am the Logistics Coordinator for the VAC's Passionate About Literacy program, Director of Communications for the Native American Student Association, and a Well Being Advocate for students diagnosed with COVID-19. After graduation, I plan to attend medical school and hope to work as a doctor on a reservation.

Miranda Jones

My name is Miranda Jones and I am a Sophomore Pre-Nursing student. I am a member of NASA, the Native American Student Association here at Arkansas and look forward to working in the club with my peers in the coming years. I plan on graduating Spring 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree to pursue my lifelong goal of being a nurse. Woo pig!
